What is a WomanSage Chapter? A WomanSage chapter is a group of 20 or more women who come together with the purpose of following the WomanSage Mission of empowering, educating and fostering mentoring relationships among midlife women with monthly salons which give women an opportunity to network with others of like interest. WomanSage National has created a news-based website, a quarterly newsletter and annual conferences, which the local chapters can tap into along with guidance from the Chapter Development committee.

Southern Connecticut Chapter The Southern Connecticut Chapter, founded in February, 2005, is the first satellite chapter founded outside of Orange County. The annual membership fee is $80.00. $40.00 is forwarded to the National organization and $40.00 stays with the local chapter. For more details on the Connecticut chapter please visit their website www.WomanSageCT.org WOMANSAGE CT MEETING NOTICE The Fourth Annual WomanSage CT Garden Party will take place on Monday, August 11th at 6 p.m. at Donna Carter's house, 1397 Hope Street, Stamford, CT 06907. Phone 203-9682968. For directions go to www.MapQuest.com. If you've attended previous garden parties you know how well attended they've always been -- good food, good company, good conversations in a great country garden setting!!! It will be a potluck dinner, with Donna providing the beverages. Each guest should bring either a main dish, vegetable, salad or dessert that will feed at least 12 people. We've always been lucky in balancing out the menu and if we don't - we're together for the company - not the food. This year, changing the venue a bit, we are encouraging our entrepreneurial members to "show us your stuff". This should be a fun way to learn a little more about each of our interests and perhaps we can shop a little. Please let me know if you will be bringing items and if you will need a table or some place to display them. Hopefully, the weather will be fine and we can enjoy Donna's garden - if not - we'll have just as much fun indoors. Very important that you let me know if you can attend. Please RSVP before August 4th. Please either email me or phone 203-327-4484. Evelyn Haight To contact this chapter, please send an email to: eahaight@optonline.net |

Virtual Meeting We offer an online forum for all of you across the country who are in chapters. It is a way to create "virtual" meetings, so that you can find out about each other, share stuff and plan things. The chapter in San Bernadino, California has been meeting virtually for over a year. They get together in cyberspace and then every three months pick an area and have dinner. It is always fun to finally meet the people you have been interfacing with for three months or more in person. Below are the instructions on how to begin:
