Are you constantly locked in battle with your aging parents? Wait, wasn't that all supposed to be over after adolescence?

Many of us have known that feeling when it becomes difficult to cope with an aging parent. Misunderstandings, frustrations, and sometimes a complete lack of communication altogether! It's like being a teenager all over again --- the arguments, the "silent treatment", it goes on and on.

The truth is, as our parents age, we have to find ways to re-engage with them. At our February Salon, Psychologist Dr. Bonnie Olsen, will share insight into gaining a better understanding of the seniors in your life, focusing on their emotions and cognitive health issues. She will share new ways to relate and techniques to improve communication and breathe new life into your oldest relationship -- that with your parents.

Don't miss this great opportunity to get your questions answered and get some badly needed tools to deal more effectively with one of the most important relationships you will ever have.

Space will fill quickly for this event, so register now to attend.

WHAT IS THE 'SALON'?
The WomanSage Salons are marvelous monthly events, featuring lectures by local authors, discussion groups and a delicious dinner, where women can come together, make new friends and have the satisfaction that they are doing their share to help contribute to the WomanSage Cares philanthropies.

As a part of the Salon experience, you are invited to bring a book or books that you have read and exchange it for another pre-read book.

The Salon is also the perfect networking environment for business women to discover new contacts and promote their business! A table is provided for business cards or printed materials to share with our attendees.
