Everyone deserves to live the Ultimate Life. You can experience it all first hand on October 30, 2010, at the 6th Annual WomanSage Conference. Join hundreds of women 40+ years as we unite through mutual support, education, camaraderie and laughter. The much anticipated lineup of speakers focuses on this year's conference theme, "Health, Wealth, Love and Legacy."
Keynote Speakers:
Jim Bunch, The Ultimate Life Entrepreneur and founder of "The Ultimate Game of Life," is a highly sought-after speaker who is energetic and fun as well as motivational and informative. He will educate, entertain, and inspire you to live your vision by realizing your true and hidden potential. Bunch is a member of the Transformational Leadership Council with other leading experts like Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul), John Gray (Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus), John Assaraf (The Secret) and others.
Anne Abernathy, nicknamed "Grandma Luge" in 1993 by her fellow competitors, is a six-time Olympian from the Virgin Islands. Not only is she the oldest woman to ever participate in any Olympic Games and the first to qualify for six Winter Games appearances, but she is probably the first to ever go to the Olympics and through menopause at the same time. She has overcome numerous hardships including cancer, 18 knee surgeries and a hurricane that destroyed her home in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, and persevered. She'll show you how to prepare yourself mentally so that the next time someone says, "You can't," you'll automatically say to yourself, "Why Not?"
Dr. Terri Orbuch, who is best known as "The Love Doctor" on radio, TV, online and in numerous magazines and newspapers across the country, will fascinate as she talks about finding and keeping love, relationships and sex after 45. She is a marriage and family therapist, relationship consultant, research professor at the Institute for Social Research at University of Michigan, and professor at Oakland University. Dr. Orbuch is widely published and is the author of five relationship books, including 5 Simple Steps to Take Your Marriage from Good to Great.
Men of Sage Auction, a lively fun presentation where Conference goers can bid on a date with local Orange County celebrities, for dinner, dancing, theater and more. Celebs include Dr. Frank LaFerla - head of UCI's MIND Institute, Frank Mickadeit - OC Register metro columnist, Paul Hodgins - OC Register theater critic, Antonio Cagnolo - Owner of Antonello Ristorante, and Jim McAleer, CEO of Alzheimer's Association - OC Chapter and winner of local "Dancing with the Stars" contest.
