Re-Invent Yourself! offers career counseling for those seeking new positions and training in ways to start your own business, as well as networking and support. An outreach of WomanSage, the program will have a job board and other web-based features.
Our September program will be very exciting!
You'll have the opportunity to develop your informational interviewing skills and to learn more about various industries.
We'll have 15 tables, each with a "chair" to answer your questions about a particular industry and what career paths are available. We can accommodate up to 9 visitors at a table for 20 minutes, then you'll move to the next table of your choice. During our meeting you'll be able to select three industries to interview for information.

The Assistance League Thrift Shop will be open from 4 to 6 p.m. before the Re-Invent Yourself meeting.
The event is open to women 45-plus. Light refreshments will be served. Cost for the evening is $5 for WomanSage members and $25 for non-members, payable at the door. Non-members who have who paid the $25 to attend the event, and decide to join at the event, may apply $20 of their fee to the $80 annual dues.
RSVPs are required. To make a reservation by close-of-business on the Monday prior to the event, contact info@womansage.org or call (949) 222-4210. Reservations are non-refundable, and no-shows will be billed.
Directions to the Assistance League of Newport-Mesa: From the 55 Freeway South (going toward Newport Beach, take the Victoria/22nd Street off ramp and make an immediate right turn (sharp right turn) on to Fairview Road. The two-story building will be on your right at 2220 Fairview. Parking is free.
